Everyone says that the purpose of FB is to meet old friends and connect, yet some make it a contest to see who can get more friends. Make sure when befriending people, you actually know who they are and you know them more than just their first name. My dad went through my friends and asked if I actually even knew any of them. When he did that, I figured out I befriended people who didn't even spare me a passing glance! These people ignored me and didn't have classes or anything to do with me. My dad is now dating a woman who went to high school with and they have hit it off very nicely in fact, and i am proud to say we will be moving in soon with her. They have been happily dating for five months and are now in business(ACN) together. So Facebook can be good or bad, it just depends what you intentions are!
